Bloom's taxonomy
While technology is fun to use in class and can lead to great results, we all want our students to learn from it and become critical thinkers. It's important to vary our teaching methods to ask different levels of questions, which is demonstrated in Bloom's Taxonomy. The lowest levels involve remembering/recalling, and demonstrating understanding.
Next, students should be able to apply or analyze information. The highest levels, where the critical thinking occurs, is evaluating and creating. The LiveBinder file embedded below is a fantastic example of Bloom's Taxonomy for the digital age. You can click on the "Bloomin' Peacock" to visit her LiveBinder site.
